Doula Services

A Doula’s role is to support the mother, and her family unit through pregnancy, birth and the fourth trimester – The Childbirth Year. Read on for more info on Doula Services.

Doulas do not offer medical advice, but do have a wealth of knowledge around pregnancy and birth, and the ability to support women emotionally, physically and practically on their journey.

A Doula helps empower women and families to have a truly positive experience, through providing information, support and encouragement, without judgement. A Doula believes in “mothering the mother” – enabling a woman to have the most satisfying and empowered experience that she can during pregnancy, birth and the early days as a new mum. This type of support also helps the whole family to relax and enjoy this experience.

I offer a range of different services, to suit different family’s needs and desires. However, every woman and family is unique – please get in touch to discuss the support you need.

Throughout history, there have been women supporting women through pregnancy and childbirth, sharing their wisdom, time and love through their journey. A Doula is there for you however you need throughout your entire pregnancy and birth and through those early days of motherhood.
